The Friends of the Jamestown Philomenian Library are pleased to sponsor a free paper shredding event on Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the library, 26 North Road.
Residents may bring up to three boxes of sensitive or confidential personal documents to be shredded. As a reminder, a sensitive or confidential document is one that contains a unique, identifying number that can be traced directly to a specific person, and which cannot be found readily through public searches. For example, a person’s name and address is not considered sensitive, confidential information.
Note: once the shredding truck is full, we cannot accept further material for shredding. For this reason, shredding services are on a first-come / first-served basis.
